Women in the New testament

The New Testament abounds with apostles, priests, epistolarians and other men of greatness who were Christ’s hands, feet and mouth in His New Creation; but what about women? Are there no significant women propagating the New Covenant? Well, of course there are, and this module looks at the women whom God worked through to shape our new life in Christ and be a window through which we can see the divine. From Mary to the woman clothed with the sun, the New Testament abounds with witnesses and apostles, faithful and fearless, stubborn and determined, outcasts and role models, whose contribution to God’s purpose in the world is powerful and complementary to that of men. This module follows on from the Women in the Old Testament module but stands alone as a study unit.
